Produced, written and directed by Diarmuid de Faoite, with musical direction by Geraldine Cotter, ‘O’Connell'is a brilliantly entertaining, warts and all account of Ireland’s greatest political giant. The extraordinary talents of Geraldine Cotter (piano), Seán Lyons (Uileann pipes, whistle, guitar and vocals), Aisling Lyons (harp, concertina and vocals), Éamon Cotter (flutes), actor/singers Diarmuid de Faoite, Síofra Ní Éilí Duggan and Martin McNelis, along with a host of piping, choral and musical guests, will immerse you in the movements, songs and music of an age that became the foundation stone of present democracy.

Emancipation, Abolition, Repeal, from the Courts of Versaille to Westminster and from The French Revolution to the Young Ireland Movement, ‘O’Connell’ is a ‘concert’ like no other.
