This year’s Aifreann Fleadh Nua will be on Sunday 4th June at 11.30am in the Cathedral.

For those interested in participating in the Fleadh Nua Choir, a workshop for the choir will be led by Fiona Walsh, Musical Director at the Cathedral, from 12.30 -1.30pm on Saturday 3rd June in the Maria Assumpta Hall. All are welcome. Traditional singers will lead the choir through the hymns and responses. Musicians are also invited to join the Trad Group who, with Therese Mc Inerney, will play selections of jigs and reels before and during the mass, further enhancing the celebratory spirit of the event.

Overall, it is hoped that the Aifreann Fleadh Nua will be a wonderful celebration of traditional Irish music and culture.
