Lucas' Back Bar - Fri 3^rd June 12:30

Cillian Ó Briain, the noted pipe maker and piper will conduct this year’s reed making workshop in Lucas’ Back Bar. There will be a particular focus on finishing/tuning reeds and fitting bridles. General Uilleann Pipes maintenance will be covered also. This is a wonderful opportunity to get some practical advice on all matters relating to Uilleann Pipes. The cost is €10 per person. Anyone interested should contact Blackie O’Connell on (086) 100 0388 so that materials needed can be estimated. This event is organised in association with, and with the kind support of, the Clare Arts Office and Piping Heaven, Piping Hell (PHPH), and will be followed by the regular PHPH session in Considine’s Bar at 4.30pm.
