The Fleadh Nua committee has been to the fore in embracing new technology, making it possible for Irish people and lovers of Irish traditional music around the world to experience live traditional entertainment wherever they may be. In 2002 Fleadh Nua, in conjunction with the Ennis Information Age Town, broadcast a number of sessions, lectures and concerts on the Internet. This produced a lot of reaction overseas by way of e-mails, extra hits to the site, etc and can be seen as a highly effective means of marketing the event in the future.
